NEW!A couple of diverse logos this time around. With one for curvy Blogger and thingy thing maker Toodaloo Katie's fantastic little blog. She wanted a new header for her website as she was relaunching it but wanted something cute, quirky and craftsy. Without it being too similar to other bloggers on the scene. / Landlord assist a company that I do a little bit of work for wanted some changes made to thier existing logo fo a new site they're setting up. So I was glad to oblige by whizzing this one of for them.

Okey dokey - having succesfully managed to post some stuff to my photo/life blog over the past few weeks I thought it was well over due for me to post something to my work Blog so here are a smattering of flyers/ photoshopping etcetera etcetera// Ive also been Dj-ing quite a bit lately bringing my Rockabilly tuneage to the masses hopefully we'll get a few more of those bad boys!

Reachout.magazine.editorial/design
While working for Porchlight I was asked to take on the Service User led Magazine - Reachout - given my previous experience in this firld I was more than happy to undertake this endeavour. I facilitated the Service users to deliver a magazine that they could be proud of. Training them in design and the use of Adobe products including Photoshop and InDesign [as the budget didn't strecth to buying macs] All of the articles and editorial material came from the Service Users that were involved.

Restrictions in hardware most of the time prevented many service users from aiding in designing the magazine, which was a shame as I would have liked them to become more involved in that aspect. However i am very proud of the work that I did with the People who worked on the magazine. Here are a collection of covers and pages from the magazine that I designed.
Landlord.Assist.Marketing Materials
I have been working with Landlord assist since their inception late last year working on marketing materials for their various campaigns. Working closely with the Client we formulated a single strategy and unified look across all matrials. Including Window Clings, HTML email templates, Leaflets and POP-UP banners. We have also undertaken a great deal of photography for the client.

I should mention that I redesigned the Logo for the Swan and Harlequin Public house - I also curated the Big Top Stage at this event!

Scars By Fire got their monies worth! HTML 5 compliant website, iphone wall papers, implemented paypal for physical delivery and digital downloads of their EP 'Junkies' Logo Design, Photography for the majority of the site as well as hosting. Click the image to visit their site.
ScarsByFire Tshirts
The Band Scars By Fire asked me to come up with a selection of designs for T shirts that they could sell at their gigs inspired by their Biker/redneck image. After playing around with a few ideas the band were most excited about the "Sons of Anarchy inspired design you see here.

The Band Scars By Fire asked me to redesign their CD Jewel Case artwork at very short notice. When I say short notice it means 30 minutes! To include all the relevent booking information so that they would be able to send out copies to promotors and record labels.

Just a few images from a recent jam night at the Britannia Pub in Margate - Held every Thursday night it's proving to be a very popular night with throngs of young and old Musos gathering to huddle around the musical warmth :P
Job.nockey.Poster
Here's a couple of poster designs that I did for a local band who go by the name of Job Nockey for their Christmas eve gig at the Britannia in Margate. Go one, Go all I expect that it will be a blinding night.
All photography, design and art direction was produced by Furious Photography and features Alexis Green [Myspace top hottie 2010] who is, not so coincidentally, the drummer of the support band Hunkertron.

Here are some more photos I have taken in Sweden - It is such a beautiful place - I would love to live there and just take landscape photographs there is always something different round the corner - there is a small inlet called Smaholmarna [meaning small marina] that i just love to visit when I am there! All of these photos are from there or as close as dammit :D //
